How to Make a Wish Jar
You've heard about making a wish upon a star, but now we're going to make a wish jar! I did not intend for that to rhyme but I am not upset about it! Anyways, let's get into it!
Wishes are a powerful manifesting magic, and one of the easiest to identify throughout our lives. Besides stars, there are blowing out birthday candles, flipping a penny in a fountain, blowing dandelion puffs, breaking the turkey wishbone, seeing a ladybug, and so many more! How many times a day do you express "I wish?" I wish I had a better job, I wish I had a romantic partner, I wish I had more money... Even today I was saying to my friend how I wish I had a coffee! Wishes are EVERYWHERE and the wish jar, while simple, concentrates that magic to manifest what you desire. Please remember that, as with everything, you still need to put in the work. You can't expect to find an amazing partner while also refusing to go out and meet people, or to get a new job without looking or bettering your skills!

Basic Supplies:
Jar
Paper
Optional Supplies:
Herbs
Crystals
Candles
Glitter
Confetti
Seriously, anything you want
Step 1:
Gather all of your supplies. I chose to include a clear quartz point along with my paper having light florals.
Step 2:
Cut your paper into strips/squares/any shape you want. This is where you will write your wishes on.
Step 3:
Cleanse and charge the supplies however you feel called to do. I used incense and crystals for this process.Â
Step 4:
Allow yourself a few moments to set your intention. If you feel called to do so, pull a few tarot or oracle cards or rune stones to hone in on your intent.
Step 5:
Write your wishes onto the paper. I chose to make each wish into an origami star. Place your wishes in your jar.
Step 6:
If you want, you can seal the jar with wax. You can allow a candle to melt on top of the jar. You can also simply tightly close the lid.
Step 7:
Give your jar a good shake… On the full or new moon, on Sundays, when you just want to, there is no wrong time! Where will you keep your jar? I think I am keeping mine by my Monstera plant!
