Behind the Things
Roots of the Rose Co. may be my little corner of the world, but not everything here happens entirely on my own. There are some pretty wonderful humans (and one particularly nosy cat) who have lent their time, talents, hands, and occasional supervision along the way.
These are some of the people behind the things.
Kate- Making Things Look Like Us
Some of the most recognizable pieces of Roots of the Rose Co. came from Kate’s hands. She created the Roots of the Rose Co. logo, designed the wreath used throughout the collection artwork, and created the banner.
She has helped turn the strange little ideas in my head into pieces of the visual world you see throughout the shop, and Roots of the Rose Co. simply wouldn’t look quite the same without her.

Dee’s Visuals- Behind the Camera
Not everything behind Roots of the Rose Co. was made at my workbench. Dee’s Visuals captured one of the photos featured on the About the Company page, helping put a face to this strange little creative world of mine.

Tim- Helping Keep the Things Going
Roots of the Rose Co. may be my project, but Tim has been along for plenty of the ride. He lends a hand at markets and events when he can, helps behind the scenes, and occasionally ventures into the depths of website CSS when I need a little technical magic.
From helping at markets to making the website behave, his support helps keep this strange little shop moving.
Riven- Quality Control
No piece leaves the workbench without passing a thorough cat inspection.
As the self-appointed Head of Feline Quality Control, Riven takes her responsibilities very seriously. She oversees the creative process, investigates anything new that appears in her workspace, and ensures that every item receives the appropriate amount of feline scrutiny.
Whether her inspections actually meet any recognized quality-control standards remains unclear.
Her qualifications are questionable. Her cattitude is impeccable.
